VALENTINES

I have never thought much of valentines but that doesn`t mean i don`t celebrate it somehow.

Valentines is a very interesting day.Its also called saint Valentine`s day or the festive of saint valentine.Its most observed in many countries.Its a CULTURAL, CHRISTIAN( 14Feb  was fixed by the western christian church while July 7 was fixed by the Eastern orthodox church) its also COMMERCIAL.

Its celebration of love and affection(from the 18th- century England,it evolved into an occasion where lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers and sending greeting cards.

For most of us at this age we know the COMMERCIAL valentine where your significant other has to spend some or a lot of money just to say how much there love you.

Valentine should be a day of love and that can be shown by the simple gestures.Most of us spend days before and on valentines worrying about what their significant other will buy them for valentines. When the day comes everyone is stressed and spends ALL their time wondering if their significant will spend time with them.The worst part is when its all over most end being very UNHAPPY.(coz it didnt go us we expected) What about JUST LETTING IT BE.

What about vals being a day to show love to others despite NOT  being sure if others will show love to us.

Taking it easy.

Maybe it should be a day when you are able to judge your significant other especially if you are still in the dating game.If he or she cant spend time with you then that can be a red flag.(just saying of course that depend on many factors)

I THINK valentines should one happy day.A day to focus on yourself by learning whats worth to keep n whats to drop.

All the same am not saying you should expect him to buy you the world and  the truth is valentines is all about love ,exchanging love letters or cards if you like just declaring your love for your other.Its those small gestures that count its not how MUCH the GIFT costed.Let  the gift we give be a SYMBOL OF LOVE

When vals comes some of us gets to be so desperate we end up with anyone who will ask us out but the truth is, we necessarily dont have to really be with them and at he end of the day we end up feeling like losers.

If you no partner to spend the day with then think of all the nice people who surround you everyday am sure you can show them love by even spending time with them

If none of that is possible SELF LOVE IT IS .Happy valentines and i do hope you had an amazing time.
